Ford E-Series Swivel Seat Base

(54 reviews) Write a Review
$335.00

The Ford Swivel Seat Base allows you to rotate your seat 180 degrees to face the rear of the van.*

The Ford Swivel Seat Base does not work with a power drivers seat.

The Driver's side Ford Swivel Seat Base does not work with a 4x4 van due to the location of the 4x4 shift levers.  The passenger seat still works fine.

The swivel seats work for E-Series vans model year 1997-2014. E-Series cutaways 1997-present. You may have to move sensors wires under the seat for install. Professional installation recommended but not required.

*Seat needs to be facing forward while van is in motion.

Passenger swivel seat oedestak for e350 ford van

Posted by James nickens on 14th Jul 2020

Not an exact fit for, 2014 vans must have some sort of carpet padding issue. I had to cut out sound deadening padding and relocate the seat belt wire. I also had to drill out all 4 holes for the seat. It would not slide over the bolts. I also had to go buy longer bolts for the two front screws/bolts. One stud in the rear was almost too short. But in the end it is installed and works well.

Ford E-series swivel seat base - both passenger and driver

Posted by Peter Tryon on 10th Jul 2020

Excellent product. I ordered the passenger first to try it out, installed with no problem and works fine. So I ordered the driver side and just installed it. It clears the airbag electronics with no problem. Happy with product and service. (Slow delivery, given ground shipping, but that's ok. Installed in 2012 Ford E350 van.

    Great upgrade

Posted by Jack Daniel on 28th Jun 2020

This was a great upgrade to my little RV, fairly easy install, and now I have more flexible seating when stopped with a rotating passenger seat.
    A couple of installation notes:
You will need to reroute the seat wires.
You may need to remove floor covering and padding to get a tight fit to the floor, I just cut away the vinyl and padding on mine.
If the 4 holes for the seat studs don't line up, you can loosen the 2 bolts on the front of the swivel frame and adjust alignment, then lock everything down.
I had to remove the folding armrest for the door to close when the seat is facing back, no great loss as it was not a comfortable armrest anyway.

    E-series swivel base

Posted by Les on 1st Jun 2020

The new swivel base work perfectly. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because my seat bottom bolts did not match up with the base perfectly and took some effort to mount to the bracket. I think $335 is a bit much for this. Otherwise, bravo.

    Works great!

Posted by Candi on 28th May 2020

Installed this in my small motorhome and it gives me a whole new seating area. It was easy to install, nearly by myself other than needing another set of hands to maneuver the seat. I need to open the passenger door to swivel the seat all the way around, but that's not a big deal. Only negative is that the wires for the airbag sensor don't reach, I wish this came with some sort of extension or at least a suggestion on where to get one, or a hole in the platform to feed the wires through.

    Swivel Away!

Posted by Dan Foster on 25th Feb 2020

Purchased this seat in August 2019 for my 2006 E-450 chassis (passenger seat). Works great. The only mod I made was to buzz a hole large enough for the seatbelt wire on the driver's side of the base and fed the wire up through that. Otherwise it fits perfectly and works GREAT!

Solid and well made. Works great but needed to expand size of 2 bolt holes to fit.
