    Good product but !!!

Left side where the tire carrier installed OK. Slight problem for me drilling the holes in the bumper as my carrier was modified by Alluminess. They added an extra brace to accommodate the bike carrier that I installed behind the Spare Wheel. Otherwise installed great and works great.

Unfortunately the curved part that attaches to the hinged part of the carrier on the right (box) side was not drilled correctly during manufacture. It was drilled too large for the locking pin. Peter is working with me to get that corrected so no problem otherwise.

Be careful and follow the instructions for the number of washers correctly. I tried to get away with only one washer on each side of the part that attaches to the bumper. It wouldn't tighten down fully even though there was plenty of thread left. Turns out the locking nuts won't allow the bolt to go all the way through and once over tightened it isn't possible to get the bolt loose without breaking it. Easy enough as it is Stainless. My bad, and a new bolt and nut from ACE fixed my mistake.

I didn't install the rubber grommet for storing the locking pin. I just put the pin through the locking part and bumper with no problems. Don't really need the grommet.
